Joëlle Jobin rejoint l'ETH Alumni en tant que Event and Community Manager
On 1 May 2022, Joëlle Jobin became the latest member of the ETH Alumni Association team, where she is the new Event and Community Manager. She is responsible for all the events organised by the ETH Alumni office and is assisting affiliate organisations around the world achieve best practice in event management.
Joëlle studied cultural sciences and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim. She then spent over ten years in various positions, including PR work, editorial work, dramaturgy, communication and head of production in cultural institutes with international networks in Berlin and Switzerland. Joëlle joins us from Migros Culture Percentage where she was project manager for culture and brings with her a wealth of experience in project management of digital and analogue events. She has recently gained a certificate of advanced studies in business management from the University of Zurich, adding to her knowledge of organisation, innovation and digital transformation.
“I organise and oversee formats and content for the ETH Alumni Association, providing attractive meeting places for the global community of ETH alumni and alumnae. The association strives to help individual members improve their specialist, social, methodical and personal skills. I look forward to working with the affiliate organisations to enable an active transfer of knowledge and to respond flexibly to current requirements. I see events as resonating spaces for shaping long-term relations and as drivers for innovation. The alumni events bring interdisciplinary networks to life.”
